Chrissie Muhr
Chrissie Muhr is Co-Managing Director and Artistic Director of the Experimental Foundation, where she leads the Foundation's Fellowship and public programme, advancing experimental, practice-based approaches to sustainable architecture. She brings extensive experience across architecture, research, exhibitions, and publishing, as well as a broad international network spanning cultural, academic, and professional contexts.
Based in Basel, alongside her institutional work, she leads exhibition and editorial projects on reuse, material culture, and regenerative design, including the Danish Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale, 2025, and *Reset Materials* at Copenhagen Contemporary. Muhr has taught internationally: in 2026 she was Visiting Professor at TU Wien, leading the design studio Emerging-Practices – Transforming Tools, and in 2025 Muhr launched the Multispecies Spaces Lab at HGK Basel.
