Mykhailo Shevchenko is an architect, product designer, educator, and co-founder of Materia Lab, an interdisciplinary hub for research in circular construction and architecture. He is Head of the Office of Shaping the Built Environment at the Department of Architecture and Urban Design of Lviv City Council. He taught at the Kharviv School of Architecture, and participated in the Halabuda Initiative, a platform for open-source urban design in Ukraine. His research focuses on open design and bio-based materials, particularly earth construction for Ukraine’s recovery. Shevchenko is an Experimental Fellow.
