ZRS Architekten Ingenieure is an integral planning office based in Berlin, founded in 2003.

The office designs, engineers and researches, often through transdisciplinary real-world labs that bring together planning and experimentation. Earth and timber – natural and reusable materials – are central to their work. Faced with the climate and resource crisis in the construction sector, ZRS consistently favours existing buildings over new-build, driving the shift towards a post-fossil, circular economy in construction.
